Last night my roommate was at the GSU library and around 11 o'clock discovered that a stray dog had wondered into the library. The police had called animal rescue, but after seeing him she couldn't let them take him to a shelter. He was it pretty bad shape and is doing semi better this morning. He was exhausted, dehydrated, starving, has a limp, an open wound on his face, fleas, and possibly worms. Totally breaks my heart! He has an appointment at the vet today at 3pm. We are planning on paying to get him fixed up so we can work on finding him a home. Although he's overly sweet and adorable, none of us have the money nor can take on the commitment of owning a dog. If you want a dog or know anyone who does, please let up know! We've nicknamed him "Daddy Dewey" (after the Dewey Decimal System).

Just as an update, Dewey is doing great :D Now that he's been to the vet and on some medication he's becoming more dog-like. He has a potential new family that will take ownership of him once he's been fully brought back to normal!
